Today we decided to get out of the smog of the valley and bird in some clean air. We headed up to Heber City and then over to Red Cliffs State Park. We came across a Golden Eagle eating on a deer carcass surrounded by Magpies wanting a taste. We viewed a total of four Golden Eagels, two bald eagles, lots of American Robins and a few Townsend Solitairs.

Mourning Dove
A rain storm with snow to follow last night made for a magical morning as the sun peaked over the mountains. It was brilliant outside and the birds could not wait to have there turn on the feeders. I was pleasantly suprised to see a Morning Dove make and appearance. The one thing I like about winter is the fresh snow that has been untouched. Other than that, I am ready for spring.
